OB Appointment June 16th

Well my appointment with Dr A was super rushed again because she was on her way to deliver a baby, so I saw her VERY briefly, but Killian's heart rate was 148bpm... She did my fundal height measurement, but didn't tell me what it was *grumble* (Here's where I'm glad again that I see the midwife. She INFORMS me of everything, without me having to go "WAAAITTT" as she's darting for the door.) I am at 157lbs according to her scale (ouch.) And my blood pressure was 110/58. Which is still good. BUUUT here's the bad part. I had my gestational diabetes screening this time. The 1 hour one does NOT require you to fast... but what they don't tell you is that if you eat anything, it shouldn't be anything with sugar in it... because it throws off the results. SO guess who failed? My 3 hour test is Tuesday morning. Bright and early. And for that, I have to fast. And I will be locked in the hospital for 3 hours. LOVELY. (I do NOT want to have to relive the "pacing the hospital halls to pass time" times again... NOT good memories.) SO that should be a great time, and I will update when I have the results. On a good note, my HGB levels and the other blood draws were all spot on. At least I know I'm all healthy otherwise! Now... just to pass this pesky GD test....
